The election includes contests for governor and lieutenant governor, U.S. representative, state senator, state representative, secretary of the state, treasurer, comptroller, attorney general, judge of probate and registrar of voters.

The Secretary of the State has published sample ballots for Woodbridge’s two voting districts. Both districts are in the 3rd Congressional District, 14th State Senate District and 114th State House District. Voters can review the sample ballots before going to the polls. See November 3 sample ballots — Connecticut Secretary of the State (select Woodbridge).

Absentee voting remains an option

Voters may also request an absentee ballot without providing a specific excuse. The deadline to request one is Monday, Nov. 2, but voters applying this close to Election Day should account for the time needed to receive and return a ballot. Completed absentee ballots must reach the Town Clerk by 8 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.

The Town Clerk’s office is at Town Hall, 11 Meetinghouse Lane. Contact the office for assistance with absentee applications or ballot return arrangements. See Connecticut Secretary of the State — absentee voting information.
