Music and community events at 10 Selden this August
An all-ages lineup of live music, community gatherings and an open jam session continues throughout the month
Woodbridge's all-ages arts and music venue at 10 Selden Street continues its summer schedule throughout August with live music, themed events, and community gatherings. Most events are open to all ages, with ticket prices varying by event.
The August lineup includes:
- Saturday, Aug. 1 — Live metal bands featuring Remedies, Palmball, Frogs, Inhumane, and Incoherent. Doors open at 6 p.m.; show begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission: $12.
- Friday, Aug. 7 — Nekropolous Goth Night featuring DJ Purp, vendors, displays and other oddities. Runs from 7 p.m. to midnight. Admission: $12.
- Saturday, Aug. 8 — Live bands (lineup to be announced). Doors at 7 p.m.; show at 7:30 p.m. Admission: $12.
- Friday, Aug. 14 — Live hardcore bands (lineup to be announced). Doors at 6 p.m.; show at 6:30 p.m. Admission: $12.
- Saturday, Aug. 15 — Hardcore and metal bands featuring Journii and additional performers to be announced. Doors at 6:30 p.m.; show at 7 p.m. Admission: $15.
- Saturday, Aug. 22 — Metal Summer Slam — Day 1, featuring bands to be announced. Doors at 7 p.m.; show at 7:30 p.m. Admission: $12.
- Sunday, Aug. 23 — Metal Summer Slam — Day 2, featuring bands to be announced. Doors at 7 p.m.; show at 7:30 p.m. Admission: $12.
- Friday, Aug. 28 — NLM Presents: The Spot, a free community gathering open to all. Begins at 7 p.m. Free admission.
- Saturday, Aug. 29 — Open Jam with The Other Ones. Doors open at 7 p.m.; music begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for musicians who wish to participate in the jam (proceeds benefit 10 Selden) or $12 for attendees.
